Honkin' Haulin' Trucks

Every year, during West Fest, the parks & rec sets up an event with a basically anything you can drive where kids can climb in, on, and around all these vehicles. We forgot about it last year, but this year we went and Jaxon was in HEAVEN. Trucks, tractors, cop cars, wee-woos (known to you and me as ambulances and fire trucks), school buses, etc. All there and just waiting for Jax to climb in them to honk their horns. He was more into looking at them than getting in them, until we got to the school bus. That he just climbed right on and acted like he owned the thing. Josh took him on the fire truck and that was pretty cool for him too, there were lots of buttons and levers for him to touch and look at. After we had looked at everything, we waited in line and got Jax his very own driver's license. The girl in front of us was 11 years old, and she was convinced it was the real deal and she was actually going to get to drive home. Pretty funny.

These are the stickers he got. He was very concerned that we were going to lose them or that they'd blow away since it was a little windy. Daddy and Jax on a wee-woo!

Josh said that Jax kept asking the guy on the fire truck "What's it do? " They spent a few minutes up there while Jax made friends with the fireman.

Trying to wait patiently for a turn on the fire truckDriving school bus.

Checking out the controls for a ginormous crane.

So this is Jaxon at the END of his barrel train ride. Pretty similar to the picture below from the beginning of the ride.

In the tractor with Daddy. Not such a fan and definately NOT ok with touching things yet.
