Afternoon in the Park

The end of August (ya know... a month ago... oof, I'm behind) we went on an adventure to the park for a bit. Jax ran like crazy and had a great time and then we rented a bike and cruised around for a bit. Jax thought the bike was the coolest thing ever, and kept telling us to go faster. Josh joked about how we should jump the speed bumps, and we sorta did over one and the first thing out of Jax's mouth was "Go faster! Do it again!" We are in trouble when he's the driver, I think.

He was determined to climb this ladder by himself. He did it a few times, but that didn't make me feel any better about him refusing to let Josh help him.

Last summer, around the same time, we were at this park and Jax couldn't walk up steps on his own yet. He spent most of our time last year practicing going up and down the steps by one of the slides. This year, he could run up and down them. He grows too fast.
