Jaxon is a little more ok with the sand now that we got him some water shoes...he was so ok with it, in fact, that once he decided it wasn't scary, he was shoving it in by the handful. By the time we left, he was exhausted, I don't think we had even really left the park and he had fallen asleep in his carseat.
Our adventure was a good mixture of some of his favorite things: water and open spaces that work awesome for yelling. That is exactly that he is doing in the picture below.
That sand mustache he had most of the afternoon. About the time I'd get it cleaned off, he would shove more in his mouth and I'd have to start all over again.
Eating sand.
He looks like such a big boy, standing on his own in photos! The sand was hard to walk on, but he gave it his best shot.
