Swimming Lessons

Fight The Frost

We went to an event at the Fargodome the other night, called Fight the Frost ~ they fill the dome with inflatable games and let kids go nuts pretty much.  A friend had invited Jax & I to go, so we went though I was unsure that Jax would even go near the inflatables.  We have tried stuff like this before and Jax wanted nothing to do with it.  Apparently, this was a week for Jax to try new things (he decided earlier this week that he LOVES pancakes and can't get enough of them), because once Sophie got there for Jax to play with, he was all about jumping and trying out all the bouncy castles.  Jax ended up having so much fun, that when it was time to go, Jax would not get out of the inflatable, regardless of the bribe offered. Thank goodness Josh had joined us after work or we'd probably still be at the dome.  The promise of an even bigger place to bounce finally got him out of there!

Bath Fun

Daddy was showing Jax how to blow bubbles all over the place during his bath the other day ~ it was fun to watch :)

Yunker's Farm Childrens Museum

We took Jax to Yunker's Farm and he wasn't quite sure what to do with himself right away.  He'd get pretty into what we were doing and when we'd try to get him to do something else he would get mad at us.

 Chasing me, being a bee

We walked into the music room and Jax goes, "YES!  I'm going to rock!!"  He grabbed the microphone and danced and sang until we forced him to move onto another room....

After music, we moved onto trains.  These were especially hard to get him away from.

It was a pretty fun afternoon.  So fun, in fact, that on the drive home Jax yelled "You take me back to that house with toys RIGHT NOW!  Please! I need to play!" (Cuz you know we have no toys or anything at home for him to play with!) ;)

Basketball

This year is uncle Tanner's senior year and so we've attended a couple of his games this season to cheer him on.  Of course, Jaxon's in it for the popcorn and making uncle Jameson blow bubbles for him.

Sledding!

I told him before he went down the hill that he better not crash into me.  So while it looks like he may have crashed into me, he didn't ;)

First Sledding Outing of the Season

Last year, when we took Jaxon sledding it was mostly just pulling him around the yard or down the hills in front my parents.  This year, he is all about big hills.  He did some sledding on his own in the little sled, but much prefered sharing Daddy's big sled.

I have a video of him going down the hill all by himself, but I will have try in a different post to upload it.

My Boys

I love the look on Jaxon's face in the first picture and then the look on Josh's face in the second one :)  It's so fun to watch the boys play together!

Last month we did some painting projects during our days off from school.  One day Jaxon painted a wooden train, and he thought that was so much fun he wanted to show Daddy how to paint.  We picked out some wooden race cars for Daddy and Jaxon to paint.

Little Bunny Foo Foo

Tell me this isn't the sweetest, cutest thing you've seen all day.
