Tumbling Class Week 1

Last night was our first night of tumbling. I was a little afraid of how it would go, since Jax woke up from his nap CRABBBBBBBY. When we got there, he was still pretty crabby and cuddly, but once he realized that he got to "go bounce" he was over that and ready to run off some energy. He was so enthusiastic about class that he was that kid that's interested in what else is going on and what else he can be doing, he didn't exactly follow directions the whole time. Next week will be better? Josh was in charge of photos and video last night so there's very little photographic evidence that he actually had fun.

Pumpkin Patch

We've been trying for a couple weeks to make it to the pumpkin patch with Kate, Cody, and Keegan. It rained on Sunday morning and cleared up to be a PERFECT day for a pumpkin patch visit.

Hugging Keegan goodbye after we've adventured! I think last year he was about 2 feet tall....I'll have to look

Our pumpkin picking process was a lot like last years: kick it, smell it, roll it, lift it, sit on it.

Jax and Keegan loved playing in the straw (hay? I don't know, I know nothing of farm terms.) So we played in it for a good 20 minutes before finding pumpkins and then again after the pefect pumpkins had been picked.

This picture makes me laugh because right before I took it, we had been looking at the petting zoo animals and Kate said "Let's go pet the cow." She meant the real cow, but Jax walked up to the wooden cow for milking and started petting it.

Those awesome sunglasses were included in our admission fee. They are pretty classy :)

Dakota's football game

We went to watch Dakota play football a couple weeks ago. Jax likes the cheering and yelling part of the game, but as you can tell from the pictures he would rather blow bubbles during the rest of the game. We also went to watch Melvin play one (cold!) night, and Jax spent is time at that game, running around the bleachers and stopping to yell every once in awhile when the crowd got rowdy. Maybe he's meant to be a cheerleader? :-p
