This weekend, Grandpa Jim and Grandma Linda delivered the most awesome table ever for Jaxon. It's not in its permanent home yet, but Jax could care less. He likes to snack at it and tonight it worked perfect for making roads with books. Thanks, Jim and Linda! We looooove the new table :)

2nd Haircut
This haircut was far less painful and traumatic than the first one. The girl that cut his hair this time around at least liked kids, was maybe the difference? She was really good with Jax and showed him all sorts of stuff and visited with him before attacking him with a spray bottle and scissors. Funny enough, the whole ordeal was tear-free until daddy arrived. Once dad got there and Jax realized he was seatbelted to the chair, he was mad and sad. There was no screaming though, just a few tears. And there were no other kids in the building to traumatize. A 400% improvement over last time.
Swimming Lessons Week 4
There aren't/won't be pictures of week 5 swimming lessons, cuz that week it was just mommy and Jax. That lesson was a lot of the same stuff, only it included encouraging the little ones to jump into the pool on their own. With submersion. Oof. Hopefully Jax forgets this part of the lesson until he's a little older or knows that he can only do that if he has a life jacket on and even then I don't want it happening for a bit. I know he will miss getting to swim every week, so we'll have to look into taking some more lessons again soon!
Celebrating Mommy's 30th Birthday
To "celebrate being old" my favorite boys and I went to the Holiday Inn for some swimming on a pirate ship. We swam a few hours Saturday night (yes, hours) and then Jax was up bright and early (think 7am) on Sunday, so we swam for a few more hours. This kid is like the Energizer bunny! It was a lot of fun, though I was surprised Jax lasted as long as he did, since he had week 4 of swimming lessons that morning.
