Backwards, our week was pretty eventful. Sunday we went to the lake to help open up the cabin for the summer (YAY!). Saturday we went to see the FM Derby Girls. I figured that Jax would either love it with all the movement and people and things to see or hate it because of the noise. Final verdict was that it was fun because he could yell and scream at people all he wanted, but it got to be a late night and the only way to keep him happy was to give him his own seat. He was pretty proud to get his own chair, though. Earlier in the week, I took out the pool that Grandma Linda got him so he could go skippy dipping in the backyard. It was a good time until he learned that if he leaned on the ring that he could drain the pool. Next time we get to try out the new sprinkler!
The shirt goes with the pants below. They were a little small though, so in order to get the crabby pants to fit, Jax had to crawl around diaper free. I'm sure he didn't mind, he's a big fan of being naked.

Test drive
Ignore the look on his face. He wouldn't smile for me, and really I was just trying to get a picture of how he drives just like daddy ~ one arm hanging out the window, one on the steering wheel. Beep Beep!

On track!
I reached a point last week where, if it wasn't raining, we'd go outside for a few minutes to swing or just check things out. He looooves to swing and likes that the swing is low enough to the ground that he can grab some grass as he goes by :)
Jaxon's year stats ~ 21 pounds, and 31 inches tall. Still cute.
We had preemie clinic and RightTrack today ~ and, Bree came home from Germany! Jax was so excited to see her when he got to daycare this morning, we sure missed her! Preemie clinic was pretty uneventful, we go back again in August. We didn't get a final weight, Jax wouldn't sit or lay still on the scale, so she just guessed. The weight above is his weigh from his well visit last week. OT said he looks like he's on track, Dr. Jay says he looks good and we're sposed to keep working on the milk thing and see if it gets any better. (Jax started drinking cow's milk a couple weeks ago and it's not going so great, his body does NOT agree with it). RightTrack said the same thing as OT, the only thing he's not doing in his chronological month developmentally is taking steps on his own.
I was pretty sure he would do like he always does when RightTrack comes, is just kind of play with her toys, but not really "show off." Well today, at preemie clinic and for Sandy (RightTrack) he wouldn't keep still or keep quiet!
